Michael Phelps to set all time Olympics world record

Despite his involvement in a drug bust in 2009, Michael Phelps is still on his way to becoming the most decorated Olympian of all time in any sport. With his 16 Olympic gold medals, including 14 golds and his unprecedented eight during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Michael Phelps only need to win three more medals to surpass Soviet gymnast Larisa Latynina's 18 medals won from 1956 to 1964.

Tom Daley, Team GB's Olympic pride

One of the current Great Britain's Olympic pride, Tom Daley started diving at the age of seven but his Olympic career started at a very young age of 14 when he represented Great Britain at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. At that time, Tom was Britain's youngest competitor, the youngest competitor of any nationality outside the sport of swimming, and the youngest to participate in a final.

He was just 14 then but now he has grown into a full man.

Thomas Robert "Tom" Daley was born on 21 May 1994. He's never tried a cigarette and thinks alcohol is "disgusting." Despite him saying he is "not up for a relationship" the 18-year-old Olympic medal hopeful is apparently enjoying a fledgling romance with American diver Kassidy Cook, 17.
